Yes, I will stand up and say it; I am a Sheryl Crow fan. No, I will not be attending Lillith Fair this year (I know…it’s back). I bring this up because her new album 100 Miles from Memphis came out today. Lauren and I have many interests in common, clearly shown by the fact that I too just watched that Ron Galella documentary! What an interesting film, especially when considering our societal obsession with celebrities and our use of the internet in order to turn ourselves into celebrities of sorts. For any major crazy foodies out there, this site (a fellow tumblr!) is unbelievable. I don’t know what or who “Ruth Bourdain” is, although he/she is clearly some sort of Ruth Reichl/Tony Bourdain combination, in the best possible way. The “Ruboku” section is particularly incredible…
