More Beach Photos.
Listen to this and look at those.
Beach Snaps
Was going through my photos from this past weekend over Memorial day, and thought I should post some of my favorite beach/coastal pictures from the last few years….
Happy summer and enjoy!

I’ve done quite some adventuring in the great state of California in the past month or so, so I’m posting some photos.
ENJOY!
Some photos I took on my iPhone out of the airplane window on a recent flight…On the overly tinted ones I used the Hipstamatic application (full disclosure, my iPhone is, in fact, not a camera from the 1970s)
“The beauty of true scale”
This article appeared in the science section of The New York Times on April 18th. Photographer Bryant Austin takes photos of whales and prints them in life size proportions. The images are currently on display at the Electric Works Gallery here in San Francisco and I can’t wait to go see them.

I’m known to my friends as really more of a bag girl. But, I still have a deep appreciation for an amazing pair of shoes. Closet snooping has long been a fun game I like to play and when I saw this slide show today of Khloe Kardashian’s shoe collection I couldn’t resist taking a look (I recommend skipping the text…lots of ooohing and ahhing by Khloe over anything that costs more than $600 and sparkles). These are just a few of the shots from the Elle & The Covateur interview.

This weekend, with my parents in town, I took my first drive up to Napa. I doubt I need to wax poetic here about the beauty of the valley, the smell of the fresh mountain air, or the limitless variety of food and wine…when you say Napa, this is all implied.
Taking a tip from an old family friend, we did venture up to Pride Mountain Vineyards. It’s a little off the beaten path (extremely windy mountain road that merits it’s own “I survived the drive to Pride t-shirt) but so worth it. We had a full vineyard and cave tour which was really fascinating but clearly the highlight of the trip was the wine. Although we tried several (yes there was talk of Merlots and the movie Sideways) their Viognier (pronounced vee-an-yay) was completely delightful.
My parents bought a case. I could only afford one bottle. I have been cherishing it since.
Best,
Lauren
